Hunger Bound is an unrelenting twist on vanilla Minecraft, powered by a custom Fabric mod I built from the ground up. You start weak — just 1 heart — and the only way to grow stronger is to eat new types of food. Every bite brings hope. Every death resets it all.

Hunger Bound v1.0.2 – Major Fixes & Player Data Reset We’ve released a critical backend update that fixes world syncing issues and stabilizes player progress across sessions.
Here’s what’s new:
Smart First-Join Detection (Fixed) Players who join a new world with 20 HP are now automatically reset to 1 heart if needed.
World-Aware Save System (Fixed) The mod now tracks which world you're in and only resets data when absolutely necessary.
Advancement Syncing Fixed (Fixed) "A Healthy Obsession" advancements now correctly reflect your health even after logging out or dying.

Safe, Automatic Saving (Fixed) Progress is now saved regularly and persists through world swaps and server restarts.
Last Eaten Food Tracker (New) We now remember your last food to prevent progress loss if anything goes wrong. Full

Data Rewrite (New) Player data now saves to disk, improving multiplayer stability and reducing memory issues. Player

Data Reset Required Due to this update, all player stats have been wiped. Everyone will start fresh at 1 heart again.

Playtesting Help Needed We’re looking for players to help test these changes in new worlds. Let us know if you spot any bugs or issues.
