WeatherSMP is a Java and Bedrock survival SMP on the latest version where the sky decides what kind of day you are having.
Weather Events
Every 45 to 90 minutes a random server wide weather event hits for 10 minutes. Thunderstorm Frenzy gives double ore drops. Blood Moon brings forced night, tougher mobs and double mob loot with bonus XP. Clear Skies gives everyone Haste and Speed. Lucky Drizzle hands out free gifts every 30 seconds including iron, gold, emeralds and even diamonds. Harvest Rain doubles crop drops. Lightning Hunt broadcasts coordinates and the first player to reach the strike wins diamonds and an enchanted golden apple. Meteor Shower drops ore packed meteors near you. Blizzard slows anyone not wearing leather. Windstorm gives Jump Boost and Slow Falling. Fishing Frenzy makes rare fish twice as common. Rainbow gives bonus XP from mobs and ores.
Fishing Overhaul
Catch 19 custom fish from Common to Legendary, each with its own size and value. Weather fish are much more common during their matching event. Fish bite faster than vanilla and a live timer shows exactly when to reel in. Sell your catch at the fish market, level up for bigger fish and better odds, complete your fish log for a big reward, and win cash in fishing contests. You might even reel in treasure chests, messages in a bottle that lead to buried loot, or a Mimic that fights back.
Economy
Buy every building block in the shop at fair prices or use quick buy. Trade with other players in the auction house. Claim daily rewards that grow with your login streak, complete three daily quests for cash, earn playtime rewards, and climb the weekly leaderboards for prizes.
PvP
Spawn is fully protected, while the Warzone around it is open for fights. Put bounties on other players, build kill streaks, collect player heads, and fight over the server limit of only three maces.
Teams
Create a team of up to three players with Leader, Officer and Member ranks, a shared team home, private team chat, team tags in chat and tab, and no friendly fire.
Infuse SMP
Craft 13 powerful Infuse effects at the brewing stand including Strength, Thunder, Frost, Ender, Fire, Ocean and more, each with its own cooldown.
Halloween Event
Monsters roam with pumpkin heads and drop Spooky Coins, doubled during the Blood Moon. Spend them on armour, Mending books and more in the candy shop.
Quality of Life
Graves keep your items safe when you die, only one player needs to sleep to skip the night, random teleport takes you into the wild, wool elevators move you between floors, crops replant themselves, and you can show off items in chat. We also have land claims, veinminer, proximity voice chat, homes, teleport requests, player warps and an in game help guide.
Fair Play
Active and friendly staff, anti xray protection, grief logging, a report system and a Discord with support tickets and linked chat.
