OpenSMP is a vanilla semi-anarchy survival server built as a player-driven civilization experiment. There are no admin-created nations, protected borders, official currencies, or forced storylines. Players can establish settlements, invent governments and currencies, trade, build infrastructure, form alliances, wage wars, raid, steal, or simply play ordinary survival.
The 6000 x 6000 Overworld makes land and resources finite. The End, Elytras, Shulker Boxes, natural villages, land claims, /home, and teleportation conveniences are disabled, so roads, railways, ports, Nether routes, logistics, and strategic territory matter. Cheating, hacked clients, X-ray, duplication, and server-breaking exploits are prohibited.
