Ember is a new server based on the 218 revison. If you're looking for a server that doesn't just look great but also feels great to play, come check us out! What we are:
We are a PVP Economy based server where players can both do PVM or PVP activities for their main grind. Play your way but choosing what you want to do and just get after it! Hit up the rev caves for blood money by killing revenants or other players and steal their emblems for even more rewards!

  • Fixed EXP multiplier being incorrect for all combat. (was not applying 4x damage as exp, was just using base multiplier which i thought was weird.)
  • Exp rates lowered to promote an actual economy and rewarding end-game (about 150x for combat)
  • Adjusted gold income and blood money income for a better long-term economy
  • Removed option to set skill level when clicking a combat skill in skill tab.
  • Added full Stronghold of Security, fully traversable all floors with rewards!
  • Adjusted all NPC's to have OSRS stats. (not sure why a lot didn't in the first place).
  • Fixed a client lighting issue that would cause 117HD plugin to turn off in some areas unnecessarily
  • Fixed overflow exploit in bank vault (I'm sure that tilted a few people)
  • Moved wilderness bosses to their proper dungeons (Vet'ion, Venenatis, etc.)
  • Added Voidwaker and special attack with it
  • Added Voidwaker crafting via Madam Sikaro with full dialog
  • Created a new tutorial NPC and a new tutorial that's actually pretty helpful.
  • Fixed NPC auto-chat messages not working
  • Fixed magic incorrectly calculating time to target, causing a damage delay the further away the enemy was. (Fixes both pve/pvp)
  • Fixed Zaryte crossbow incorrectly having 2 definitions. This is why it never worked...
  • Added Blighted Vengeance, Entangle, Ice barrage, etc. (All blighted bags work in pvp only!)
  • Opted out of adding Nex, so godwars bosses can drop broken Torva (repairable via Bob at home for 500k ea).
  • Adjusted some godwars npcs being a bit too strong
  • Added 3 portals to home that allow public or instanced Mage arena boss fights. Each boss has had combat reworked to be perfect for mid-game players.
    • Blue for Justiciar Zachariah (can drop Justiciar armor)
    • Green for Derwen (drops Bryophyta staff and Swampbark armor)
    • Red for Porazdir (drops Bloodbark variant and dclaws at a rare rate)
  • Reworked npc drops because rare items were dropping way too frequently.
  • Reworked Drop table viewer (now works properly and will not break and can now also search by ID!).
  • Drop simulator is fixed and accurately shows what to expect within x amount of kills. Very accurate.
  • Fight caves reworked and no longer stops spawning enemies. (can now be completed basically flawlessly, still only 15 waves. may adjust depending on demand.)
  • Tombs of Amascut started with 8 man raiding system (will be out on launch 100%), the basics:
    • Party codes for players to join, can use the recruiting board at home to send global messages automatically (will make an interface later)
    • All bosses have custom combat with 2 or 3 different attacks that can be predicted and prayed (just so it's easier, won't take much to learn bosses.)
    • final boss split into 2 phases with custom combat (no room mechanics likely but will have some hefty aoe to make it challenging).
    • Treasure room with rewards (Players will be able to grab 2 chests for a chance to get a key to open the large chest for a better reward. Key chances will be high so it's worth it. )
  • Added Revenant Maledictus with full combat, animations, and drop tables (He's mean!)
  • Added Dawn (with pet drop!) from Grotesque Guardians with custom combat to make it fun (2 phases for challenge, 2nd phase is Dusk).
  • Added Phosani's Nightmare with custom combat with 3 switches that can be prayed. (This boss is hella mean. mid-endgame.)
  • Can reclaim blood money from Doomsayer with gold (1:1)
    • Can now reclaim entire stack for a fixed 350bm (makes sense with the economy the way it is now.)
  • Pet insurance lowered to 2.5m to adjust for the economy
  • Twisted bow now correctly applies 250% damage bonus outside of TOA and PVP.
  • Magic and Range now properly keep you in place and doesn't run you up to the person. (was a hard one to fix, packet needed reworked).
  • Added a very low chance to receive another drop from any given NPC. (no particular reason, just to make it feel better when it happens).
  • Added overload potions and imbued heart
  • Added colossal pouch for runecrafting
  • All clue scroll rewards added to collection logs (over 400 rewards!)

  • Fixed general graardor hitting twice with ranged attack (made it nearly impossible to farm)
  • Fixed max hits on godwars bosses being incorrect
  • Added a maxhit combat dummy to home
  • added amulet of the damned to Grotesque Guardians as a rare drop,
  • Dawn is now a 2 part fight with Dusk, dusk also drops his pet
  • Revamped Justiciar with minions (super fun now)
  • vault now accessible via ::vault (stores cash and blood money),
  • toa raid rewards completed with scoring system based on damage dealt)
  • fixed KBD combat spamming magic attacks when in melee range (also made kbd way too strong)
  • fixed Twisted Bow's damage and accuracy formula being incorrect
  • fixed Tumeken's Shadow formula being incorrect also
  • added highscores to server side
  • added Nighmare staff (and spec) with variants

Noticed a few things that need tweaked and knocked these out over the last couple of days. Advertisement thread also coming in a few days so keep an eye out also for that!:

  • replaced callisto with the non-clan cup version and fixed the combat and drop tables
  • replaced venenatis with the non-clan cup version and fixed the combat and drop tables (looks more scary now)
  • rewrote range accuracy and damage calculations and now feel WAY better.. rangers now feel really good
  • Void and Elite Void (Ranger) are now working properly by increasing damage and accuracy when wearing the full set by 10% (Elite void raises damage by 12.5% instead of 10%)
  • Zaryte crossbow now properly makes next hit guarantee bolt spec
  • Mystic lore, Mystic Might, and Augury now properly boost your magic damage (1%, 2%, and 4% respectively. was not applying the boost at all.)
  • Tumeken's Shadow passive effect now properly multiplies your magic strength and damage by 4 (suppose to be 3 but still hitting in the 60s so bumped to 4), leading some to some very serious stats. This brings it's damage range up into 70's and feels a LOOOOT better. Base max hit was also fixed (magic level / 3 + 1)
  • Removed a buff on all melee weapons on the damage roll which gave all melee about 2-3 damage more depending on attack style. My only guess to do this was to make the scythe stronger because it hits 3 times, and it gave it more like 9 damage bonus vs the 2-3 the rest got.
  • Started a slayer rework so you get a different variety of tasks and tasks amount, not just 1 or 2 things at high quantities. Slayer feels really bad lol.

    • increase health from 450 to 3000 since it's a world boss....
  • holy ornament kit now transforms scythe to Holy scythe
  • sanguine ornament kit now transforms scythe to sanguine scythe
  • blood ornament kit now transforms torva to sanguine torva
  • Fixed a potential exploit that would allow anyone to spawn items from the spawn interface
    • Not sure if an actual exploit, but it wasn't checking player rights on clicking an item
  • Fixed donator bonds going into the bank incorrectly
  • Added a $25 bond to fill a gap (went from $10 bond to a $50 bond.)
  • Added double exp lamps (1hr, 3hr, 5hrs)
  • rewrote clue scroll system
  • Fixed Spinolyps at Dagannoth dealing magic damage and range damage (only suppose to be range, made Dagannoths nearly impossible)
  • Scythe of Vitur now has proper graphics
  • Tumeken's Shadow now has proper stand animation

  • bumped blood money drops from 60% to 80% drop rate for wildy monsters,
  • made chaos fanatic attack speed slower by 1 tick,
  • chaos fanatic now properly uses magic instead of ranged for his main attack
  • new players should now properly join clan chat on arrival
  • Grotesque is now a multi area
  • Tumekens shadow now has charges
    • charges are item-bound, not acount bound, meaning you can have multiple staves in your inventory with varying charges,
    • when banked, the staff becomes uncharged and you are refunded your runes according to the remaining charges (2 soul runes, 5 chaos runes per charge for every staff),
    • charged staves can not be traded,
    • can be used on maxhit dummy without consuming charges, but needs at least 1 charge,
    • uncharged staff while equipped can be charged via "Operate" option,
    • charged staff charges can be checked via "operate" option
  • added Seren with custom combat
  • fixed Ancient Godsword animation
  • Ancient Godsword spec now properly heals and deals damage if defender is within 5 tiles
    • was only boosting accuracy and damage, spec basically did nothing
  • Finished master clue scrolls and added to collection logs
  • Bank slots increased from 600 to 800

  • Gws Bosses no longer needs slayer level to kill,
  • Jad no longer needs slayer to kill
  • Mithril dragon max hit reduced from 60 down to 50 to be in line with osrs,
  • lumbridge cows are now accessible
  • al-kharid gate is now passable with 10gp fee.
  • Al-Kharid warriors will now group up on you properly if attacked near another warrior
  • Bracelet of ethereum should now be picking up blood money inside of rev caves
  • All prayers are now unlocked by default and do not require a prayer scroll to unlock. Just need level.
  • ToA will now track completions when you click a chest at the end
  • receiving a pet at the end of toa should result in the pet achievement
  • dragon harpoon now works from your inventory or equipment
  • fixed null drop at Zulrah (was wrong ID)
  • fixed drops at Porazdir, rares were more common than uncommon resulting in very few uncommon rewards
  • updated ToA rewards chest and how rewards are rolled
  • grimspike no longer randomly hits 30s thru prayer (capped at 15 and no longer hits thru prayer)
  • Theatre of Blood has been started. Lobby and first boss encounter has been completed with full attacks like osrs.

Made a few updates to TOA to make them soloable with added difficulty

  • TOA lives reduced for solo players from 6 down to 1
  • TOA lives now calculated based on party members
    • adds 1 life up to 4 for every player
    • if party is >= 7 adds an extra life up to a total of 5 max
  • can no longer enter the raid once any boss has taken more than 100 health, this locks in the lives limiter for the party.

Other Updates

  • Rewrote NPC definitions so NPC's data all loads together and not all over the place
  • NPC stats are now properly working
  • Rewrote godwars factions to be extremely efficient and works server-wide assuming i have an opposing faction set on a nearby npc.
    • for now this only applies to godwars until we have a use-case for it.
  • Added hotkeys for bank, teleports, and home
  • toxic blowpipe stats cut in half (was still pre-nerf and could out damage a twisted bow)
  • fixed toxic blowpipe attack styles (2 tick speed for rapid, 3 for others)
    • no longer is 2 ticks if attacking an npc, or 3 if player....made no sense.
  • All Barrages can now hit up to 9 targets up to 3 tiles away properly
  • Fixed abyssal demon drop rates
  • fixed spritual mages being able to hit through prayer
  • Zilyana's bodyguards now have proper animations and graphics and hit according to their attack style, not just all melee
