## Your Next Minecraft Home
Play2Play is a Minecraft survival server built for players who are tired of servers that say "no pay-to-win" while quietly selling advantages behind the scenes. This one is different. Running on dedicated physical hardware with no cloud hosting dependencies, the server prioritizes stability, fairness, and genuinely earned progression above all else.
Every reward, every crate key, every cosmetic unlock, all of it comes from gameplay. There are no real-money purchases, no loot boxes, no "premium" ranks that inflate earnings. What you put in is exactly what you get out. That is not a marketing line. It is the entire design philosophy.

## Infrastructure
Play2Play is hosted on my own **dedicated physical server machine**, not a cloud VPS or third-party hosting service. The server runs on hardware owned and maintained by the server owner, eliminating the variability and limitations of shared hosting environments.

Because the server is not reliant on cloud infrastructure, players do not experience the latency spikes, resource throttling, or scheduled maintenance windows common with hosted services. The trade-off is that the server owner handles all hardware maintenance and network management directly, which is a conscious choice to prioritize stability and performance over convenience.

## What Sets Play2Play Apart
### Three Worlds, Three Experiences
The server runs a multi-world structure that separates different types of gameplay cleanly:
- **Lobby:** A safe, protected spawn hub. No PvP, no risk. Walk through physical portal frames to reach other worlds.
- **Main World:** Full survival with land claims, an economy driven by the Jobs plugin, and a complete reward system spanning 11 job categories and 11 configured crates.
- **PvP World:** A dedicated world where KeepInventory is disabled, claims are off, and only combat skill determines who walks away with loot. A safe lobby zone sits at spawn for those who want to gear up before heading into the full-risk world. From there, choose your own adventure: step straight into the untamed wilderness, or take the random teleport portal to be deposited somewhere deep in the pvp world.
### A Reward System That Respects Your Time
The crate system is built around mechanics that reward consistent play. Opening crates gives you access to escalating reward pools.
**Six tiered crates** (Bronze through Celestial) feature escalating reward pools ranging from 5% to 1%.
**Five themed crates** (Mining, Farming, Combat, Fishing, Cosmetics) serve specific playstyles with focused loot tables.
**PlayTimePlus milestones** automatically award crates at 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 16, 20, and 24 hours of playtime, and more.
**DailyRewards** cycles through daily, weekly, and monthly login bonuses with crate key payouts that scale with premium tier.
### An Economy Built on Work, Not Wallets
The economy flows through Jobs (12 categories, 20 daily quests each) into Vault and EssentialsX. A custom CatoShop plugin provides a GUI-based point shop where players can spend earned PlayerPoints on crate keys.
No pay-to-win shortcuts. No purchasing power with real money.
### Cosmetic Depth
Custom armor trims across 13 patterns and 8 materials, plus 9 persistent particle effects with durations up to 7 days. All obtainable through crate rolls. These are not purchased. They are earned.
### Combat That Means Something
CombatLogX prevents logging during fights. The PvP world enforces full loot mechanics with no get-out-of-death-free commands. ValhallaMMO adds MMO-style skill progression for players who want deeper character development outside of combat.

## Upcoming: Even More to Explore
Play2Play is actively developed. The roadmap includes:
- **Boss events:** Wither spawns every 6 hours, Warden spawns every 12 hours, both with high-tier loot rewards
- **Gambling systems:** Coinflip, dice rolls, lottery, slot machines, roulette, poker tables, and a Jackpot Arena with no house edge
- **Random raffles** on timed intervals with crate rewards
- **Fishing rewards** with per-fish-type configuration and cooldowns
- **Playtime leaderboard** with holographic display at spawn

Play2Play is currently in open beta. That means you will see systems evolve, features land, and balance adjustments happen based on real player feedback. It also means the no-pay-to-win promise is already enforced. It is not waiting for a "full release" to become real.
Being in beta means you have a voice. What works, what does not, what you want to see. All of it shapes the server's direction. Early players are not beta testers in the traditional sense. They are co-developers.
