ZeRO — a Ragnarok Online–inspired MMORPG on its own engine
ZeRO isn’t another rAthena or Hercules server. We wrote our own game from scratch: a Godot client and a Python server. We kept the classic pre-renewal Ragnarok you remember and rebuilt the technology under it.
What you’ll find
- Classic pre-renewal gameplay. Formulas, skills, monster spawns and drops follow the original mechanics. Rates are official-style 1x, so every level and every card drop means something.
- All first and second jobs: Knight, Crusader, Priest, Monk, Wizard, Sage, Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Assassin and Rogue, each with its original job-change quest.
- The world of Midgard. Prontera, Geffen, Payon, Morroc, Alberta, Al De Baran, Juno, Comodo and more, with their fields, dungeons, MVPs and the quests you know.
- A modern client. Native builds for Windows, Linux and macOS with an auto-patcher. You install once and updates arrive on their own.
- A mobile companion app for Android. See who’s online, chat with friends and answer whispers when you’re away from your PC.
- Fair play. It’s free and there’s no pay-to-win: nothing that affects gameplay is sold.
- Active development. New content and fixes come almost every day. Every patch is listed in the changelog and the news on the site.
Community
The game has a website with account management, a forum, and in-game world chat. Bug reports go straight from the game client to the developers, and we listen to players.
The game and the site are in Russian; English-speaking players are welcome.
