Moderator Position Description: Game/Server Moderator (Volunteer)
We're looking for a dedicated volunteer to help keep our Minecraft server fun, fair, and safe for everyone. As a Moderator, you'll monitor chat and in-game behavior, enforce server rules consistently, respond to player reports, and help resolve conflicts between players in a calm and fair manner. You'll work closely with the admin team to flag rule-breakers, assist with bans/mutes when necessary, and provide feedback on how to improve the community experience.
Basic Requirements:
- Good understanding of the server's rules and community guidelines
- Strong communication skills and a calm, fair approach to conflict resolution
- Basic familiarity with Minecraft mechanics and common moderation tools/commands
- Ability to stay active and responsive on the server and Discord
- Trustworthy, mature, and able to handle sensitive situations with discretion
- Prior moderation experience is a plus but not required
