Builder
The Project
Pacific Northwest Minecraft (pnwminecraft.org) is a high-immersion, 1.21.4 Semi-Vanilla SMP. We are looking for a creative visionary to help us design a world that feels like the rugged, evergreen forests of the PNW. This is a key leadership role for our upcoming launch.
Requirements
Portfolio: Must be able to provide screenshots or a portfolio of previous "Rustic," "Organic," or "Naturalist" builds.
Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of WorldEdit and WorldGuard is required to manage large-scale terrain projects and protect spawn assets.
Aesthetic Alignment: Must understand the PNW "Vibe"—think ranger outposts, coastal cabins, towering custom trees, and misty mountain trails.
Communication: Must have a working microphone for Proximity Voice Chat and be able to check email regularly for coordination.
Responsibilities
Designing and constructing the primary Spawn Hub and Shopping District.
Creating "Points of Interest" across the map to encourage exploration.
Assisting the Owner in terraforming landscapes to fit the server's theme.
Setting up WorldGuard regions to protect community builds.

This is a volunteer leadership position. Benefits include:

About the Server
Pacific Northwest Minecraft (pnwminecraft.org) is a professional Semi-Vanilla SMP focused on a high-immersion, community-driven survival experience. We utilize the latest 1.21.4 features alongside Proximity Voice Chat to create a unique social environment.
Job Requirements
Age: 16+ preferred (Maturity and level-headedness are non-negotiable).
Communication: Must have a working microphone and be comfortable using Proximity Voice Chat.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of EssentialsX commands and the ability to learn CoreProtect (/co inspect) for grief investigations.
Knowledge: Familiarity with 1.21.4 vanilla mechanics and a clear understanding of the difference between "friendly banter" and "toxic behavior."
Experience: Prior experience as a Helper or Moderator on a Survival/SMP server is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
Monitor chat and proximity voice for rule violations (harassment, toxicity).
Assist new players with using their Starter Kit and understanding land claims (GriefPrevention).
Investigate reported griefs using CoreProtect and restore damaged areas.
Foster a welcoming, "PNW-style" cozy community atmosphere.
Compensation
This is currently a volunteer position. However, staff members receive:

Access to staff-only utility commands to enhance your own gameplay.
A direct hand in shaping the roadmap and future of a growing server.
