Gambinomafia

Gambinomafia is a text-based mafia RPG you play in the browser. It has been
running continuously since 2007, and after nearly two decades of Norwegian-only
play it is now fully available in English.

You start at the bottom. Petty crime, stolen cars, a first weapon. From there
the game opens up: run ***** between cities, extort businesses, break friends
out of prison, buy your way into banks, airports and smelting plants, and climb
32 ranks of a progression system that rewards the long game rather than the
loudest wallet.

The heart of the game is other players. Families are player-run, with their own
forums, shared accounts and internal politics. Territory, businesses and
reputation are contested. Alliances hold until they don't.

There is a full casino attached, including real-time multiplayer Texas Hold'em
with cash tables and tournaments, blackjack, slots and a player-driven auction
house and black market.

Gambinomafia is free to play with no download and no client. It runs on desktop
and mobile.
