The Old Frontier

The Old Frontier is an ongoing fantasy Minecraft roleplay server where player choices shape a persistent world.

The server is greylisted: This means you may join to play the tutorial, but you must complete an application via our Discord to fully participate.

Create a character from 18 playable races and 9 custom classes, pursue professions, form relationships, establish settlements, explore custom dungeons, complete narrative quests, uncover forgotten history, and influence the world through your decisions.

Roleplay continues beyond major scheduled events through everyday encounters, trade, politics, settlement life, exploration, player-created conflicts, and staff-supported storylines.

Features include custom professions and crafting, a detailed colony system, instanced dungeons, archaeology, an in-depth magic system, player-created paintings and music, messenger birds, and a wide range of custom content.

This is not a temporary civilisation event, short-lived season, or one-time campaign. Characters, settlements, relationships, and stories continue to develop over time.
