WillVille SMP is a whitelisted Minecraft cooperative survival server, inspired by the community driven spirit of classic Towny servers from the 2011-2016 era of Minecraft. Here, players work together to build a thriving civilization through community, creativity, and long term, semi realistic worldbuilding.


We are different from your typical Minecraft survival server, the goal of our server isn't about rushing to the End, or becoming the most powerful player on the server. It's about building communities, creating stories, and working together to create something greater than any one player could build alone. you can check out our document that outlines the rules & community guidelines here. We do not allow random killing, raiding, griefing, factions, mega bases, anarchy, or any of that crazy stuff. We also have ZERO pay to win features! WillVille is a casual vanilla server built around community & social interaction. Players are encouraged to work together, trade resources, get to know their neighbors, participate in community projects, and help contribute to shaping a world that feels connected and alive.

One of WillVille's defining features is its trust based approach to gameplay. The server does not run on land claims, region protections, or restrictive permission systems. Instead, players are trusted to respect one another and contribute positively to the community. We do however offer the ability to lock your chests, so that you can have the ease of mind knowing your most valuable items will always be protected. Staff utilize CoreProtect to investigate and reverse griefing when necessary, allowing the server to remain an open and unrestricted environment.


There is no single way to play. You may choose to become an ordinary citizen of WillVille and build your own house, start up a business and trade items or services with other players, help build stuff and expand the town, develop farms and other critical infrastructure, work on your individual survival progress, master Redstone engineering, explore the world beyond the town limits, or even establish a settlement of your own. Every player has the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the world around them.


While roleplay is entirely optional, players who enjoy storytelling and worldbuilding will find plenty of opportunities to participate. Whether it's creating local traditions, establishing governments, running businesses, founding organizations, or simply developing a character within the world, players are free to contribute to the evolving lore of WillVille in whatever way they choose.
