What is Horizons?
I wanted to make something different with new features a player have maybe never see before on a modded server. I target players that just want to build, explore and play with other players. I feel this server contains the best mods to keep me and any player busy/happy for a long time as there is no real end game. A player can never really reach invincibility.
To start off there are 5 global waystones. One for Spawn and 4 others for E, W, S & N all about 20,000 blocks from spawn. We also offer backpack and very early on simple planes and copters can be made to continue your journey the the many Biome O Plenty areas. We do have mutant mobs and a few more surprises as you venture out but I feel the server is very balanced with adventure, challenge and abilities. PvP is discouraged and a family friendly atmosphere is promoted and enforced.
Horizons adds a LOTS of small additions to the world including some fantasy, exploration, mystical, mutant mobs, new animals, fruit trees, farming, new hostile/dossal ocean creatures , foods, décor, cool base building objects, upgraded armor/weapons, girl armor, towers, loot, ores, air travel, upgraded boating, sounds, and much much more.
