Lorecraft is an open-project SMP where Yukila meticulously oversees changes to advance everyone's lore, influencing the overall server dynamics. These narratives shape the evolving nature of the server. One notable transformation arose when an individual rallied a group, leading to the establishment of lordship, which has since become the server's central feature.

Several key gameplay adjustments have been implemented, such as a reduction in the growth rates of trees and crops. Villagers are intentionally absent to foster player-to-player trades, ensuring a stable economy and preventing potential lag associated with extensive trading halls. Certain items have been repurposed and are not obtainable through regular crafting methods; instead, they are crafted within Santa Rosa, the server spawn town that houses essential gameplay functions.

Among the upcoming additions are the Maquina, machines that introduce new items and trinkets to the server. These devices serve specific purposes, such as farming, mining, or battles. An illustrative example is the Pitman's Box, allowing miners to extract smaller materials from cobblestones. These materials can be used to craft other exclusive machines available in Lorecraft.
